COVID-19 Update

To our valued patients:

As you are aware, the coronavirus, which causes a disease known as COVID-19, is spreading from person to person in the United States. At NOVA Interventional Pain and Spine, we’re putting the health of our patients and staff first. At our office, our staff is taking all the proper precautions to ensure your safety, including spacing our patient appointments and limiting the waiting room to one patient at a time.

Here’s a list of what we can do to prevent spreading the virus:

  • If you have a cough, fever, or have traveled internationally or been on a cruise the last month, please stay home. If any of these apply to you and you have already made an appointment, please call to reschedule.
  • Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Have other family members do so as well. If you are unable wash your hands at the time, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth
  • Cough or sneeze into your elbow
  • Maintain social distancing

We will provide updates as we continue to monitor developments regarding COVID-19.

NOVA Interventional Pain and Spine

At NOVA Interventional Pain and Spine, we offer state-of-the-art treatment of acute and chronic pain. Our goal is to decrease pain, restore function, and improve quality of life.

Our board certified and fellowship trained physician administers a thorough examination and obtains the necessary imaging studies to diagnose the issue. We then discuss treatment options with our patients and create a plan to treat the pain.

If an interventional procedure is indicated, we will perform the procedure in our office as soon as possible to provide the quickest pain relief for the patient. We will also prescribe non-opiate medications to help alleviate pain when needed. Additionally, we will refer patients to physical therapy, neurologists, orthopedic surgeons, or neurosurgeons if necessary. We believe our comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach is the most effective way to treat our patients.
